Hey, I've found a nice, configurable and FREE alternative to AVANTGO. It's called PLUCKER, and it's a gnu type software for doing thread-clipping and offline web-browsing on your PDA. The software is very well supported, with installs for Linux, Mac, OS/2 and Windoze. YOU NEED TO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL PYTHON to activate the "Distiller" portion, but everything else you need (including docs and extras) is provided on the plucker site.
