BARRAGECON 2007 first notice

Mister Nizz

, ,

Just got this from Geoff Graff, the former events coordinator for COLD WARS.

BarrageCon in Mid January

My name is Geoff Graff, and I’m with the Harford Area Weekly Kreigsspeilers, (HAWKs). We are a historical miniatures gaming group that meets in Harford County , Maryland , northeast of Baltimore .

We will be running a one day historical miniatures mini-convention on January 13, 2007 . Your name is on our mailing list, which we have accumulated from the past conventions, the Historical Miniatures Gaming Society-East membership list and from other contacts.

Our convention, BARRAGE XI, will run from 9 AM to 9 PM on Saturday, January 13, 2007 . The site is located about 10 minutes from the Baltimore Beltway and I-95, on the northeast side of Baltimore . We will be using the cafeteria at Archbishop Curley High School .

Admission is $8.00 at the door, $6.00 pre-registered, and children under 13 are free with an adult. Admission is $4.00 if you are pre-registered and run a game, and active duty military enter for $2.00 (with ID).

We will have 12 tables to run games on, and plan to run 25+ games over the course of the day. I have a basic web site at http://mysite.verizon.net/vzeqnmab/hawks/ but there is a problem. I am having trouble (PC trouble) accessing the web site, and have not been able to update it for this year’s convention. The location and costs are correct, but the day and activities are from last year. I still hope to be able to fix this, but can not guarantee this. If you want the latest info, contact me at ggraff7@verizon net or (410) 557-2456.

We will have vendor/flea market tables at $10.00 plus admission for 8 hours and $6.00 plus admission for 4 hours, and last year had 7 different flea marketers / venders present.

We are actively looking for vendors and for people to run games.

To save a bit on postage I am e-mailing all those we have an e-mail address for. To assist us I ask that you respond to my e-mail if you have received this, so that we do not land mail you a flier. And if you have friends that you will pass this information to, please give me their names, as they may be on our mailing list. By responding to this message you will save us the expense of postage.

This is your last chance to save us postage! If we are unable to reach you with this e-mail we will be sending you a flyer via land mail next week.

If you want more information, or wish to be removed from our mailing list please let me know.

We thank you for your attention to this message, and ask that you pass this information on to anyone else who may be interested.
