El Brazo de Nelson!

The Arms of Nelson
"Alberto Flashman" has put up a blog of the Tennerife Wargamers.
The blog is quite colorful; being loaded with pictures of gaming projects for that group. Unfortunately the text is in Spanish, and I'm no native speaker. Fortunately Babelfish managed a decent enough translation.
Of particular interest to me was the job "Alberto" did on converting HaT's WORLD WAR I plastic infantry into Kornilov's Shock troops, one of the so-called "colorful infantry regiments" of the Russian Civil War. As I recently finished painting the same package of infantry and support weapons up into Revolutionary Russian Infantry, it's a very intriguing thing seeing them used as "the other side" as it were.

Having just finished with a massive paint job of exactly the same figures, I recognized the poses immediately. Nice effort, Alberto! There are many more pictures at the site, it's worth a visit if you are a fan of RCW and SCW wargaming.
