They killed Earl Grey!!!

The excellent and enthusiastic boardgame reviewer TED CHEATHAM (Geekspeak, Boardgamespeak, Dice Tower) has taken up video reviewing with a vengeance.

His latest is on a game that I have been long anticipating. That's WINNER'S CIRCLE, the remake of ROYAL TURF RACING (Alea) now published by Face to Face. According to Ted, the differences between the two games are minimal, but evident if you're a long time fan of ROYAL TURF.

Most noticeable for me was the dumping of "Earl Grey", my favorite horse from ROYAL TURF, and replacing him with "Grey Lag"... The Bastards!! Many were the jokes made at Earl Grey expense, yet he remains the most-betted upon horse in our gaming circle.

In any event, I look forward to acquiring WINNER'S CIRCLE. ROYAL TURF was/is one of my favorite racing and betting games.
