Another Bold Initiative

I've been thinking about running a game of SOPWITH, the pbem WWI aircraft combat game derived from an ancient British board wargame, here on this blog. It's not nearly as complex as BLUE MAX as that game is implemented on youplay. On the other hand, it's fairly simple and with the Tom Tweedy adaption for PbeM play, it's ideal for a slowpaced pbm game.

My plan is to start as soon as we have six players interested. Rules are the standard ones in use with the British PBM zines (the link above pretty much covers it). I think it might be best to avoid clouds in the first game.

I have a cyberboard file with these graphics in it (see above). It's my intention to post the movement and combat results as graphcis using the CB box.
