Well, work is moving along smoothly on a Borderlands Cyberboard gamebox(reference: Eon Publishing, the folks that brought you DUNE and COSMIC ENCOUNTER).
Needed: a decent scan of the 4 player (basic) map, as I only have the five and six player editions. Scans of the Bridge, islands, Barge and Ship counters from the first expansion set.
This is kind of what it will look like
My resource production counters (big and round in the printed countermix) are smaller and square in the gamebox file. The boats, cities and blimps are true to the original countermix, but too big right now.
I've gone about as far as I can go with what I have, if anyone out there can help with the rest of the images, contact me.
HERE is the work in progress, on the PBeM Emporium. Rules for the basic edition and two expansions are included. So it's ALMOST playable. You will need to know how to work with the Cyberboard Play By Email program to utilize this file. Currently, there are no scenario or game files attached, because the gamebox isn't finished yet. I'm hoping I'll be getting the scans soon.
My goal was to run a Borderlands PBeM game right after I was finished with Acquire, but as that GamesbyEmail site appears to be screwing up Acquire games, I may bring that game kickoff forward in time a bit.
