Another Point of Singularity

A recent discovery that Richard Houston's 1/1000 pre-dreadnought ship miniatures are back in production has rekindled my interest in the Naval Battle of Yalu, a conflict I've been interested in for a long time. I discovered a pretty good AAR artcile by Philo McGiffin (the American Naval Officer in command of the Chen Yuan at that battle) that was submitted to the Century, a 19th century political journal. It makes for interesting reading.

Unfortunately, since the PDF I made is from old scans (Tiffs converted to GIFs then PDF'd) it really didn't compress very well and is 2.8 mb. So if you would like a look, try here:
