New on the DIPLOMACY front

Change of Adjudication Tool announced
Much as we like using REALPOLITIK and PALM POLITIK together, we discovered a major flaw in the use of RP 1.6.6. in the recent fall turn. RP wasn't keeping track of Supply Center ownership once the units left the controlled areas.
For instance, in our recent SINGULARITY ONE game being run over on Consimworld, the British player made the classic North Sea dash to capture Norway and Belgium. He vacated Great Britain and ALL of his supply centers were suddenly "free" and the RP ajudicator was telling him to delete units! Not good.
So we have switched to JDip. This is a Java-based adjudicator and map builder, which process turn results and published a revised map and turn results in HTML (very handy, that)
I don't care for the icons (tanks and freighters for armies and fleets) but the functionality is tip-top. And you can really figure out what Move, Support, Hold and Convoy mean from the visual cues the program gives you.
The turn resolution is far more verbose than RealPolitiks, as well.
Personally, I like RP's maps better, but this program really does the job better, so that is why I am switching.
ONWARD!
