Yo go, boys

The lads at Whizkids are graduating from one-trick pony status. Their second release in the 'plastic card, constructable mini' line (after Pirates of the Spanish Main is Rocketmen, and it seems to be doing well.

GamingReport.com recently published a preveiw of new three dimenional terrain pieces for BOTH games that will soon be available: islands for the Pirates game, and asteroids for the Rocketman game.

Have a look for yourself:












The pieces are useful for the game and certainly more pretty than the 2D stuff that comes with the card decks, but I can see more uses for this stuff than just their respective games. For one thing, I play 1:1200 RAM SPEED games and those islands would be terrific for that, as well as for Ironclads games.

The asteroids are a tad too specialized, but might come in handy for games of BATTLESTATIONS (in the tactical mode).
